Evidencias del impacto de la Competencia sobre el Crecimiento Económico de América Latina y el Caribe

Resumen

Se presenta el análisis de la contribución de la Productividad Total de Factores (PTF) al crecimiento así como de la competencia al crecimiento económico a travís de la intensidad de la competencia local. Los resultados indican que del total de países de ALC, en ocho de ellos la contribución agregada de la intensidad de la competencia local sobre el crecimiento económico fue positiva, destacando Chile y Paraguay, y en los otros fue negativa.
