Information For Authors
Editorial policy
The Revista de Análisis Económico y Financiero is a semi-annual publication of the Professional School of Economics and the Research Institute of the Faculty of Economic and Financial Accounting Sciences of the University of San Martín de Porres. Every manuscript received is submitted to the two-stage arbitration system. The steering committee of the journal undertakes to send a response regarding the status of each manuscript within a period of no more than 30 business days from receipt.
Publication rules
Items sent must follow the following rules:
• The article must be original, not previously published, nor submitted for publication in another journal.
• The article can be written in Spanish or English; however, the title, abstract, and keyword must be in both languages.
• The length of each article is 8 to 15 pages, including tables and figures.
• The maximum number of figures and tables is 8 in total.
• Bibliographic citations must be in APA (American Psychological Association) format and cannot exceed 20.
• Manuscripts must be written in Word.
• MathType must be used to write equations.
• Due to the arbitration system, articles should not include the names of the authors or references to them.
• Authors must fill out an Affidavit of authorship; and send it along with your article and a resume.
• Articles must follow a certain structure which is detailed in the next section.
Structure of the articles
Each article must follow the following structure:
1. Title.
• Font: Arial 14.
• It will not exceed 20 words.
• It must be written in English and Spanish
2. Summary and keywords.
Typeface: Arial 12.
• No more than 250 words.
• Content: purposes of the work or research, the basic procedures; analytical or observational methods; the main findings with their statistical significance (if possible); and the main conclusions. Important aspects of the study or observations should be emphasized.
• Below the abstract, the author must provide 3 to 10 keywords or short phrases to help index the article.
• It must be written in English and Spanish.
3. Introduction.
• Font: Arial 12.
• Explain the purpose of the article and the rationale for the study or observation.
4. Literary Review and Methodology.
• Font: Arial 12.
• Consider a maximum of 20 bibliographic citations.
• Present the methodological process exhaustively, this description should be brief but at the same time it should allow replicating the results.
5. Results, discussion
• Font: Arial 12.
• The data collected is summarized, as well as its statistical treatment.
• Analysis of the statistical and econometric data obtained with their respective economic interpretation.
• Analysis of possible non-significant variables of the model; unexpected results; verification of the economic context; approach to econometric solutions and interpretation of adjusted and revised data.
6. Conclusions
• Font: Arial 12.
• Conclusions according to the hypotheses and recommendations according to the economic effects detected.
• Include the implication of the findings and their limitations
• Relate your findings with other relevant studies and the conclusions, with the postulates of your study, avoiding incomplete statements or not justified by the data presented.
7. References.
• Citations and references should follow the model of the American Psychological Association (APA) publication standards. The list of bibliographic sources should not exceed 20 (twenty) titles.
Manuscript submission
In order to submit a submission, authors must register on the platform https://www.aulavirtualusmp.pe/ojs/index.php/raef/index, in which authors can follow the arbitration process through their created account. Manuscripts that comply with the Publication Standards and the Structure of the articles must be entered together with the Affidavit of Authorship and a resume of the authors on the electronic platform following the instructions given by the “Open Journal System (OJS) . These instructions are detailed below:
• Click on the “Send article” bullet which appears on the right side of the Journal's website.
• Access with your user, if you do not have a register.
• Attach the article in the main submission section.
• Attach the affidavit and resumes of the authors in the secondary submissions section.
Charges for sending manuscripts
The Revista de Análisis Económico y Financiero does not make any type of charge for the reception, evaluation of manuscripts and publication of them.
Copyright
The author or authors assume ethical responsibility for the research presented. When an article is approved for its next publication, the author or authors retain the copyright and assign to the Journal of Economic and Financial Analysis the right of publication, edition, reproduction, distribution, exhibition and communication in the country of origin, as well as abroad, through printed and electronic means in different databases. After the publication of the article, the author or authors may make other types of independent agreements for the non-exclusive dissemination of the version of the article published in the Journal of Economic and Financial Analysis, provided that it is explicitly indicated that the work has been published for the first time. in this magazine.

The articles and their contents, which are published in the editions of the Journal of Economic and Financial Analysis, are the sole responsibility of the author or authors.
